Welcome to Macomb County Habitat Volunteer Hub!
Macomb County Habitat for Humanity works throughtout the year ; primarly on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday of each week. We update the Volunteer Hub weekly with construction activities, so please check back with us regularly. To schedule your group for a team build day(s) at a future date or to get additional information, please contact Volunteer Services Manager Sanaa Elias by phone at 586-263-1540, x113 or by email at selias@macombhabitat.org.
ALL Court-ordered community service volunteers MUST apply through the Restore. Applications are available at the Restore and must be filled out in person before starting your sevice. Hours will not be approved for any Court-ordered volunteer that does not have the appropriate Restore paperwork prior to serving. Habitat for Humanity reserves the right to reject any volunteer for any reason.
New Volunteer? Sign in to register! Then scroll down to view and sign up for events. Click on the event to view map, directing you to the worksite location. Unforeseen circumstances may warrant a change; ie permits, weather conditions, etc.,so please refer to Volunteer Hub the day before your build date to confirm location. Please dress appropriately and wearing closed toe work shoes is a Habitat safety policy and MIOSHA compliance requirement as well. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted on construction worksites. Those 16 and 17 years of age are permitted to work with restrictions on the worksites if accompanied by an adult 18 years or older and have their parent’s signature on the waiver form. We work RAIN or SHINE, and cancel only for lightning or severe weather. Unforeseen circumstances may warrant a change; ie permits, weather conditions, etc.,so please refer to volunteer hub the day before your build date to confirm location and status. If cancelled, we will notify all registered volunteers by phone and email and remove the event from the Volunteer Hub.

All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age to be on our worksites and if under 18, must have parent's signature on the waiver and be accompanied by an adult.
Habitat asks each volunteer to please watch the construction safety video prior to volunteering at the worksite.
