Welcome to Macomb County Habitat Volunteer Hub!

Macomb County Habitat for Humanity works throughout the year; primarily on Tuesday, Thursday  and Saturday each week.  

We update the Volunteer Hub often with construction activities, so please check back with us regularly. We work RAIN or SHINE, and cancel only for lightning or severe weather. Unforeseen circumstances may warrant a change; ie permits, weather conditions, etc., so please refer to the Volunteer Hub the day before your build date to confirm location and status.  If cancelled, we will notify all registered volunteers by phone and email, and indicate on the Volunteer Hub that the event is cancelled for that day. ALL Court-ordered community service volunteers MUST apply through the Restore. 
Applications are available at the Restore and must be filled out in person before starting your service.  Hours will not be approved for any Court-ordered volunteer that does not have the appropriate Restore paperwork prior to serving. Habitat for Humanity reserves the right to choose any volunteer for any reason.

Please dress appropriately and wear closed toe work shoes; it's a Habitat safety policy and MIOSHA compliance requirement as well. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted on construction worksites.  Those 16 and 17 years of age are permitted to work with restrictions on the worksites if accompanied by an adult 18 years or older and have their parent’s signature on the waiver form.  Call the Volunteer Dept at 586-263-1540 if you have any questions.

 Need to cancel your volunteer day? 

  • Sign in with your username and password. 
  • Scroll down to Your Upcoming Events. 
  • Locate the event you need to cancel and click the Cancel button. 
  • Follow the prompts to cancel your event.

Are you creative? Do you like to work with your hands? Are you a crafter, wood worker, artist or fancy yourself as a repurposing enthusiast? If you answered yes to any of these questions then WE NEED YOU!

Macomb County Habitat for Humanity is starting a Bid to Build On-line Auction website to help fund the mission! We would like to include items that have been donated through our ReStore and repurposed to become a one-of-a-kind item. All work will be done in our construction bay at 130 N Groesbeck, Mt Clemens, MI 48043;  Monday through Friday during the hours of 9-5.

 We will also occasionally have evening hours available. Whether volunteering on a build sight, in our office or helping to raise money, YOU WILL make a great impact!

For the third year Consumers Energy is providing matching funds totaling $100,000 statewide for donations made to Home Run for Habitat on Crowdrise, through Oct. 3rd. You can set up your own team within Macomb County Habitat’s effort, or join an existing team.

The Fourth Inning started September 8th. All gifts (from $10 to $1000)  are matched 1:1 until a statewide total of $9,000 is reached. So add yourself to our team and spread the word to your friends, coworkers and family to qualify.  Please act now to help Macomb County Habitat receive greater matching dollars so we can complete more homes this year!!!

Perhaps you have a group at work or your faith community that has an interest in raising support to help low-income hardworking families move into their own home which they purchase with a Habitat supplied zero interest equivalent mortgage. Matching dollars will leverage their donations to go even further in helping partner families realize the American dream of owning a safe, decent, affordable home.

Open to 16 years of age or older.  If 16 or 17 years of age, you must you have parents signature on Release and Waiver of Liability form and be accompanied by a chaperone, who is 18 years of age or older, throughout the day
